PNO – Lady Networking started with a very simple idea of Ms. Ho Le Thao Trinh: needing a group of friends to hang out, chat… But gradually she realized, that joy could end in a moment. Women’s spirit needs a stronger and more enduring fulcrum.

From playing to doing the real thing
Her precious gifts are not flowers, nor luxury brands, but the smiles and pure emotions that bloom in the hearts of the women who have just left the meeting called Love Connect – Spreading love. commercial, taking place in a compact, cozy space in the heart of Saigon
Whether or not there is a budding love affair, time will tell, but at least everyone has brought each other real joy. This is also an event that extends the series of activities within the Lady Networking project operated by Ms. Thao Trinh for the past four years, aimed at taking care of the spiritual life of women. Lady Networking has organized 39 events, helping connect more than 1,000 women. The project includes many activities: meetings and sharing sessions; Reading workshops, flower arranging, makeup, life skills orientation activities last for 3-6 months…
The idea was formed in 2017, but initial activities mainly took place via online channels. Since 2019, face-to-face meetings have begun to be held. The Lady Networking community on social networks also attracts the participation of about 2,800 members.
The project started with an idea… very naive. Ho Le Thao Trinh said at that time she only thought of a friendship group for women to exchange, share, and hang out together. Gradually, thinking differently, dreams became bigger as those meetings revealed many problems modern women are facing, especially spiritual life. She herself used to be like that.
She remembers the day she turned 18, standing in front of the door to life with extremely mixed thoughts. Or in 2015, her business went well but she lost many relationships and faced many unanswered problems, causing herself to fall into crisis. Thao Trinh had no one to share, guide or pass on experiences to. She had to manage alone, sometimes thinking she couldn’t find a way out.
“If only at those times there was a place to share and someone to guide me, my life might have been different,” she said.
The collision with life and her own story inspired Thao Trinh to take the Lady Networking project to a higher level. “Faced with every problem and crisis, the most important thing is calm. You must be able to speak and see your own problems. After that, we need advice and options, then choose and implement them ourselves.
Even when successful and achieving material goals, women sometimes feel mentally empty. We act as a bridge, an open door to remind women to take better care of their spiritual lives,” Thao Trinh confided.
Of the 39 events organized, 40% were directly related to spiritual life such as: love language, mastering happiness, being lonely but still happy, preparing mentally when entering married life, building Building a personal brand… For the rest, she focuses on economic building topics such as: starting a business, managing expenses, how to buy a house… right in the time of negative impacts of the COVID-19 epidemic.
But, it all doesn’t stop at plans or numbers. The most important thing is still the space for women to vent their burdens. Through that, positive thoughts are planted in them, for example: smile more, more opportunities will come, positive things will come to hearts that open to the world…
Each event has the participation of prestigious speakers and guests, but they only play an opening and leading role, not following the traditional motif: speaker speaks – guests listen. The space is still mainly for 30-50 guests. Every story, every life has equal value. Regardless of their background, they are all main characters. Compact scale helps each participant receive thorough care. The interaction between them is also increased, fears are reduced.
She said: “A 9X girl is passionate about starting a flower business but doesn’t know where to start. Standing up to introduce yourself in front of a crowd is also terrible. But from meetings, I gradually know what I want and communicate confidently. Currently, my work is progressing very well. There are also groups that, after listening to the confession, find sympathy, they bond not only in life but also support each other in developing their work. That’s enough for me to feel that what I do is meaningful.”

2. Never stop hoping
80% responded positively and all wanted to participate in Lady Networking’s next events if the topic was suitable. That motivated Thao Trinh to move forward. There are also people who frankly say they don’t want to come anymore because it takes time. Sadness came but did not make her give up. “At those times, I always think to myself: “What made me start? I don’t want women to have to walk alone.”
She went to find the causes and overcome them in the next events.
Perfection does not exist because in reality, taking care of spiritual life is still a new concept in Vietnam. With 300,000-500,000 VND (the fee to participate in an event), they can buy clothes, watch movies, eat… rather than spending on a need that has not been defined in the essential scale of life.
Even after hearing her present this project, many friends shook their heads. Because her current job has given her a relatively stable source of income. Entering this narrow alley will certainly be risky.
In recent years, Lady Networking’s revenue source has come from ticket sales and sponsorship. There are events where Thao Trinh has to compensate for losses. However, she never felt sad or pessimistic even though there were times when she felt depressed. The epidemic caused events to not be held, and cherished ideas remained on paper. At that time, social networks became a means for Lady Networking to connect women with each other.

In 2021, she wants to put a new development step forward for this project. Specifically, the customer scale will be wider, instead of just the central area of Ho Chi Minh City. “For women in suburban areas, living conditions and mental care are still limited. Some people are under too much pressure to take care of their family and want to find a place to share and have fun on weekends but don’t have any. There are also people who want to start a business and improve their economy but are helpless because they don’t know where to start. Hopefully in the future when the project develops, this will be a place where they will find themselves more at peace after the turmoil in their lives,” Thao Trinh said.
In 2021, Lady Networking focuses on developing women’s spiritual life according to the four senses: listening, speaking, reading, writing. In particular, writing skills to express one’s emotions are the first things to operate, because in the current busy pace of life, they are almost forgotten or overlooked.
The number of 30 million women receiving spiritual care that this project proposes is a big dream, but it is a kind and respectful hope. “I hope that when women receive good mental care, their lives will be better and more successful,” her eyes sparkled and her lips smiled as a kind of self-given confidence.
“Each of us wants to achieve sustainable development, we must first achieve balance internally. Only mental happiness can lead to external material success. That is also what Lady Networking wants to emphasize, contributing to changing women’s thinking on the path to realizing projects.”
